I have a deep passion for music, particularly anything related to guitars. I love sharing this knowledge and joy with others, whether I’m working on guitar repairs, and setups, or introducing new players to the instrument through lessons. It truly brings me happiness.
My love for the guitar began when I attended a blues concert at an old theater during my childhood. It took me some time to commit to my guitar journey, but when I finally did, I purchased a $100 knock-off Gibson Les Paul with the money I earned from my paper route. I also rented an amplifier from a local music shop until I could afford to buy my own. I was 13 years old and ready to rock!
Throughout the years, I have played in bands, led music at churches and youth programs, performed in one-man shows, recorded original music, and experimented with various guitars, amplifiers, and effects. I have also provided setup and general maintenance/repair work, and lessons to beginners whenever possible.
Additionally, having grown up as a "military brat," living on various bases and moving every few years, I have always respected and honored our veterans and their sacrifices. To give back to this community, I serve as a volunteer guitar instructor for the nonprofit program Guitars for Veterans (G4V). If you would like more information about this program, please reach out or visit https://guitars4vets.org/.
In short, a significant part of my life has revolved around guitars and music, and I cherish every moment of it!
